Painting Workshops
Hosted by David Hickey, the painting workshops will provide concrete ideas to apply to your current medium of choice. It will also open your artistic vision to a broader application of painting techniques that are budget conscious. These techniques include the use of non-traditional tools such as rollers, sponges, wax and oil. Whatever painting medium you currently work in will be addressed. There will be time for group work, reflection and individual consultation along the way. Visit David's website to view some of his current work. He is also a participant in the Spring One of a Kind show in Toronto. Visit David Hickey’s site. Cost - $150.
"Over the years I've worked in a variety of mediums including jewelry making, stone carving, sculpture, weaving, woodcarving, metal work and painting. Currently I paint of canvass and metal using a unique blend of acrylic, latex, watercolor, oil paints and wax."
